What Every Engineer Is Registered For
All four engineers hold categories covering combustion performance analysis, heating system installation and extension, heating controls, vented hot water systems, flue liners and non-masonry flues. In plain terms, these cover checking how an appliance burns gas, installing or extending heating, working on its controls, and the listed hot water and flue systems.
Our service covers domestic natural gas work, including boiler servicing and boiler repair. We do not take bookings for LPG, oil, heat pumps, unvented cylinders or commercial work. Tell us which appliance or system needs attention when booking, so the job can be matched to the appropriate engineer’s categories.
How to Check Our Engineers
Check the engineer’s Gas Safe ID card and registration before allowing gas work to begin. Our guide explains how to check a Gas Safe engineer in more detail.
Ask to see the card
Request the engineer’s Gas Safe ID card at the door, before work starts. Take time to read it.
Match the person and number
Check that the photograph matches the engineer visiting your home. Read the licence number and compare it with the individual details listed above.
Check the work categories
Turn the card over and check that the categories cover your appliance and the work required. Ask the engineer to explain anything unclear.
